MeowTown — a Cat Comic by Tim Schreiber

Diagnostic

A three-panel MeowTown comic about an at-home medical imaging procedure. Panel one: A worried-looking person in a green shirt holds a piece of paper labeled 'IMAGING ORDER.' He says, 'Tater, I don't know if I can afford this scan.' Tater Tot (a buff tabby cat) standing beside him, replies confidently, 'Don't worry, I can do it.' Panel two: The person now lies flat on a couch. Tater Tot stands on his chest, one paw inserted into the person's mouth, staring into his eyes. Tater says, 'Results inconclusive. Switching to increased sensitivity mode.' Panel three: Tater Tot drags his rear end down the person's face and chest in a classic feline 'booty scoot,' leaving a brown smear trail behind him. The person's eyes are squeezed shut in horrified resignation. The joke: cats already perform unsanctioned medical procedures on their humans daily. This one is just being explicit about it, the visual pun being 'cat scan.'
