Privacy Policy

This page explains what data MeowTown collects, why, and who it is shared with. We've tried to keep it short and honest.
What We Collect
When you visit MeowTown, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs your IP address, browser type, referrer, and the pages you request — the same metadata any web server collects. This is used to keep the site running and to defend against abuse.
When you fill out the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you submit, along with your IP address, browser User-Agent, and a Cloudflare request identifier. That information is sent to Tim Schreiber's personal email inbox so we can read and reply to your message.
We do not collect anything else. There are no analytics scripts, no user accounts, no comments, no ad networks, and no first-party tracking cookies.
Cookies
MeowTown itself does not set any first-party cookies. The following third parties may set cookies on your browser when you visit the site:
- Cloudflare sets short-lived security and bot-detection cookies (such as
__cf_bm) on all pages. These are not used for advertising. - Cloudflare Turnstile, used on the contact form to verify you are not a bot, may set cookies as part of its challenge. Turnstile is designed to be privacy-respecting and does not use cookies for advertising.
Third-Party Services
When you submit the contact form, your message is transmitted through Resend, an email-delivery service, on its way to our inbox. Resend processes the message data for the purpose of delivering it.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare receives all HTTP requests and may retain log data per their published privacy practices.
How Long We Keep It
Server logs are retained by Cloudflare on their schedule, typically days rather than months. Contact-form submissions stay in our email inbox until they are manually deleted. We do not maintain a separate database of visitors or submitters.
Children
MeowTown is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age range. Some strips contain humor that is not appropriate for young children.
Your Rights
If you have sent us a message via the contact form, you may ask us to delete it at any time. To do so, use the Contact Page and include enough detail (sender name, date, subject) for us to find the message and remove it.
Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU, or the UK), you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, including the right to know what information we hold about you and to request its deletion. Use the contact form to make any such request.
