MeowTown — a Cat Comic by Tim Schreiber

Halloween

A three-panel MeowTown comic. Panel 1: Indoors, beside a jack-o'-lantern, Tater Tot, a buff tabby cat, gestures with a paw and looks up with wide eyes, asking, 'So the whole point is to be scary and give candy to kids?' Loki, a gray tabby cat, stands next to him with a skeptical, half-lidded stare. The human, in a green shirt and jeans, smiles cheerfully, holds out an open palm, and answers, 'Yeah, pretty much.' Panel 2: At night on a suburban street, Tater and Loki sit in the open sliding door of a rusty white van with 'FREE KANDY' spray-painted on its side. Tater wears a photo mask of Jeffrey Epstein and holds an orange jack-o'-lantern bowl full of candy. Loki wears a photo mask of Donald Trump and holds a purple jack-o'-lantern bowl full of candy. Panel 3: A scowling police officer stands at the human's front door, holding Tater and Loki up by the scruffs of their necks, their masks pushed up on top of their heads. Tater and Loki trade glances at one another. Standing in the doorway, the human looks exasperated and says, 'I said SCARE the kids, not SCAR the kids.'
